They're merged in the order you add them. To reorder, remove and re-add.
Are bookmarks preserved?
Yes — pdf-lib copies pages with metadata intact. Form fields may need flattening.
Maximum number of files?
No hard limit, but more files = more browser memory. ~20-30 PDFs is comfortable.
